Car Torn to Pieces, Victims Critically Injured in Violent Livermore Crash
Livermore, California – Two victims were airlifted to a local trauma center in critical condition after their car was torn apart in a violent collision in Livermore, California.
According to the Alameda County Fire Department, on July 5, the California Highway Patrol, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department and other agencies responded to a “serious incident involving a high-impact solo vehicle accident.” The accident took place on Greenville Road in Livermore.
According to the fire department, the car crashed into a live electrical power pole. Multiple high-voltage power lines fell to the ground, putting both the occupants of the vehicle and first responders at risk.

Both victims were trapped in the vehicle. Based on the insane photos of the crash, it’s a miracle they survived at all.
The fire department said that after the lines were deactivated, both victims required “an extended extrication due to the significant damage to the car.”
The positioning of the vehicle next to a brick wall also complicated the extraction.

Sadly, both victims were severely injured. A CHP helicopter landed in a nearby field and transported them to local trauma centers.
We have no information on the current condition of the crash victims, but the fact that they survived at all is a testament to the skill of local first responders.
