One Pleasanton Bar is Going All-Out For Oktoberfest This Year

Pleasanton, CASideTrack Bar + Grill will once again bring the sights, sounds and flavors of Oktoberfest to downtown Pleasanton with a two-day celebration on Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18.

The free-admission event transforms SideTrack’s outdoor space into a festive biergarten featuring live music, traditional German food and drink, and family-friendly games. Food and drink tickets will be sold at the door, with limited pre-purchase packages available that include reserved seating, meals, drinks and a commemorative beer stein.

Entertainment kicks off Friday evening with Polkageist West performing from 6–9 p.m. Saturday features Alpen Band, also from 6–9 p.m.

The event is open to all ages, though beginning at 7 p.m. each night, guests must be 21 or older to enter.

The Oktoberfest menu will include items such as the “Za German Plate” with sausages, potato salad, red cabbage and sauerkraut, as well as a pretzel selection and kids’ meals. SideTrack will also serve German beer including Hofbräu München and Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen, along with local craft brews, wine and non-alcoholic options. Pleasanton’s Primrose Bakery will be on-site with German cookies and cakes.

Event hours are 5–10 p.m. on Friday, October 17, and 3–10 p.m. on Saturday, October 18. SideTrack Bar + Grill is located at 30 West Angela Street in downtown Pleasanton.
