A Massive Spring Festival Is Coming to Concord, and It’s Free

CONCORD, CALIFORNIA – Concord is about to get a big dose of spring energy.

The 5th annual Bay Area SpringFest is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord, with free admission for the public. Organizer listings say the event will run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature live music, food, plants, arts and crafts, shopping, kids activities, and a beer and wine garden. That makes it one of the bigger free outdoor spring events on Concord’s calendar, and a notable one for families looking for a low-cost weekend outing in central Contra Costa County.

What to expect

According to the organizer’s current event listings, Bay Area SpringFest will include music on the plaza stage, a dozen food vendors, a beer and wine garden, free activities for kids, and shopping from a wide range of vendors.

Some organizer materials also say the first 400 attendees will receive a SpringFest goody bag, and that registered attendees will get a free raffle ticket. Additional raffle entries may be available for food donations benefiting Monument Crisis Center. Pre-registration is also being promoted with a complimentary $2 “Spring Buck” pickup at the festival check-in tent. (Eventbrite)
