A new wellness-focused health clinic that says it uses “biofield-based” testing and treatment has opened in Lafayette.
Recharge Health recently marked its arrival at 3470 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite A-100, with a Lafayette Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The business describes itself as a physician-led practice that combines clinical evaluation with what it calls biofield testing, biofrequency treatment, nervous system therapy, and bioenergetic assessments.
Its premise is a little different from the conventional doctor’s-office model.
Recharge Health says it looks at a patient’s health through a broad “whole system” lens, examining physical factors like infections, toxins, heavy metals, and environmental stressors alongside issues such as chronic stress, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation.
The clinic says its goal is to identify patterns contributing to a person’s symptoms and create a customized treatment plan rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
On its public site, Recharge Health lists a $295 first visit that includes a guided biofrequency and nervous-system therapy sequence. It also advertises a service called the Recharge Circuit, described as a bioenergetic assessment, physician consultation, customized treatment plan, and complementary treatment session, at $150 per session.
So what exactly is a biofield?
The term is generally used in complementary-health settings to describe a proposed field or system of energy associated with the body.
The public-facing clinic website does not currently identify the physician leading the practice or provide detailed information on the specific equipment or methods used for its biofield-based testing and treatment.
Still, for Lafayette residents curious about the growing world of biofrequency, nervous-system, and integrative wellness services, Recharge Health is now an option along Mt. Diablo Boulevard.
