New Danville Fitness Studio Is Celebrating With a Ribbon Cutting
DANVILLE, CALIFORNIA — A new Pilates studio in downtown Danville is inviting neighbors inside for a look around — and a ribbon-cutting celebration.
Reformation, located at 25 Front Street, will celebrate with the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday, November 2. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 6 p.m. The event runs until 6:30 p.m., and there is no charge to attend, according to the Chamber’s event listing.
For anyone who’s been curious about the new business, the evening offers a chance to tour the space, meet founder Dahlia Schonian, and learn about the studio’s approach to Pilates.

A More Personal Approach to Pilates
Reformation offers several ways to work out, from one-on-one instruction to sessions with a partner or a small group.
According to the studio’s website, its offerings include private appointments, duet sessions for two people, trio sessions, and small-group classes with six or seven participants.
The studio recommends starting with private sessions for people who are new to Pilates, giving beginners time to become familiar with the equipment and movements.

Schonian’s connection to Pilates goes back more than 20 years.

In her biography on the studio’s website, she says she discovered it after a doctor recommended low-impact strength training and stretching as she dealt with an autoimmune disorder and arthritis.
Her teaching emphasizes core strength, body control, balance, and deliberate movement.
What to Expect at the Celebration
Along with the studio tour, Reformation says visitors can try the equipment, browse new retail offerings, and enjoy refreshments.
The studio is advertising 25% off all packages and sessions during the event night. It asks attendees to RSVP by emailing info@reformationfit.com.
The Chamber also describes the gathering as an opportunity to meet other local business owners, Chamber members, and neighbors. Its invitation welcomes both Pilates enthusiasts and people who simply want to support a new Danville business.
One detail to watch if you saw an earlier announcement: the event was moved from October 22 to November 2. The Chamber explicitly notes the change, and Reformation’s own website confirms the November date.
The celebration takes place at 25 Front Street in downtown Danville on Monday, November 2, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with the ribbon cutting at 6 p.m.
