Tesla’s New Cybertrucks Are Cruising Highway 680

Residents of the Bay Area are beginning to see Tesla Cybertrucks roaming our streets for the first time.

On two separate occasions over the last week, the Bay Area Telegraph reported sightings of different Cybertrucks on the 680 highway.

We’ve also spoken to others in the Bay Area who are starting to see these unique (some would say bizarre) vehicles.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been years in the making. With its distinctive stainless steel frame, the truck is hard to miss. It looks a little bit like a DeLorean and a Range Rover had a baby.

Indeed, when the first one was seen in the Bay Area, it was driving alongside a Tesla Model 3. That’s how common Teslas are around here!

The specs for the Cybertruck are impressive. It can do things like tow the weight of a standard African elephant, power your home during an outage, and make everyone around you wonder why you bought it.

We are excited to see more of these bizarre vehicles on the road and to learn about how they perform over the long-term.
