Signage for New “Superfoods” Store is Up at City Center in San Ramon

SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA – Signage is officially up for a brand-new “superfoods” store coming to City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California.

As we reported previously, Palmetto Superfoods is opening a new location at the popular East Bay mall.

Palmetto will offer plant-based, vegan-friendly items like açai bowls, power-food smoothies, and bowls featuring goji berries, pitaya, and other unique fruits, as well as matcha, avocado, turmeric, and other specialty foods.

Palmetto recently opened a new location at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. The upcoming San Ramon storefront will be its second in the East Bay. The local chain has its origins in the Bay Area.

Palmetto Superfoods will be located next to LB Steak (we have a review of that restaurant coming up soon!) on the lower level of City Center.

Palmetto joins the Bay Area’s overall superfood and açai-bowl craze. As we wrote about previously, Toastique recently opened in Danville—one town over—offering similar items, except that they pair them with avocado toast.

No word yet on the exact opening date, but we’ll let you know as soon as we learn more. Make sure to join our free 925 News newsletter so we can keep you in the loop on new restaurant openings in the 925.
