Cantina Jacks Restaurant Opens in Pleasant Hill

We’ve been waiting for this day for weeks now, and it’s finally here! A much-anticipated new restaurant just opened in Pleasant Hill, California, and it looks awesome.

Here at the Bay Area Telegraph, we’ve been fans of Jack’s Restaurant in Pleasant Hill for years. So we were very excited when we heard that the owners of Jack’s were opening a brand new restaurant.

The new place is called Cantina Jack’s. Instead of serving New American food like the original restaurant, it’s a Mexican cuisine place. The new restaurant is located right next to the original Jack’s restaurant in downtown Pleasant Hill, California.

We dropped by right as Cantina Jack’s was preparing to open. On the day of our visit, they were literally training kitchen staff members in the courtyard outside the restaurant.

That training and prep has apparently paid off, as Cantina Jack’s is officially open for business!

From what we’re seeing thus far, the new restaurant looks awesome! There are tacos, other Mexican specialties, and of course, lots of margaritas!

It seems like the 925 is suddenly getting tons of awesome new Mexican places. As we reported, El Talpense is about to open in downtown Lafayette.
