Launch of San Ramon’s New Alora Restaurant Is Officially Delayed

It’s official – the launch of the new Alora restaurant in San Ramon at City Center has been delayed.

We originally shared that the launch of Alora, an upscale new Mediterranean restaurant that looks absolutely delicious, had been scheduled for January 25 of this year.

Several readers wrote in to say that they had visited the future home of Alora – which is replacing the former Chow restaurant – and that it was nowhere near completion.

The Bay Area Telegraph visited as well and confirmed that finding.

Now, we have official word from the Alora team that the launch is delayed. A spokesperson described the launch date as “a bit of a moving target,” but from the construction we saw inside the future location, it does appear as if things are moving ahead.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the story, both because we want to inform you, our readers, and because we want to taste this delicious food for ourselves!
